COLCHESTER MASTIFF 1400.80 GAP LATHE, fitted with 2 Axis Digital Readout System. Will swing 27" with gap out, 212" swing over bed, and 14" swing over cross slide. The length of the bed between centres is 80" max. The Headstock will permit 3.5" diameter bar.

The Blasting apparatus below, has recently been commissioned & purchased by Fleet Parts Ltd.
This piece of equipment alone has 4 time the capacity of our existing Blasting equipment. This is achieved by the number of Caliper Castings it can process, in conjunction with the greatly improved cycle time.
In terms of the volume, in the photo, you can see one of the doors, with a “tree” containing Caliper Castings. The second identical door is closed and the machine is performing its cycle.
The operator is then free to prepare the open door, so that it is immediately ready for the next cycle.
The internal design, including materials used, and blasting patterns have been specified & designed in conjunction with our experienced engineers. The processing time is greatly reduced, and the finish achieved eliminates the necessity to re-blast any Calipers with particularly stubborn contamination. This equipment, is also considerably more energy efficient than our existing equipment.
